Process Plant Operator I Jobs in Texas

Experience with Lean Manufacturing Systems or Lean Certification preferred

Work closely with Production Managers to resolve ongoing production issues

Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills

Continuous improvement, Kaizen, SPC, and TPM experience

Team environment and independent working experience

Assist in transition of new process developments

The basic equipment includes but is not limited to: chemical hoses, diaphragm pumps, centrifugal or positive displacement pumps, agitators, manual valves.

The operator will be required to follow all site safety rules and trained in the use of specific PPE.

The operator will also be trained in how to recognize hazards, review SDS and emergency response.

Ability to work as a member of a team.

Willingness to comply with safety and quality regulations, including wearing protective gear when necessary.

Ability to lift 50 lbs or more.

Experience in project management with expertise influencing key decision makers within a matrix environment is preferred.

Strong time management and organizational skills in a dynamic, constantly changing environment.

Apply standard project management tools and principles to ensure project success.

1+ years of related experience, background and industry is preferred.

Experience in designing/implementing manufacturing processes, equipment and fixtures.

Working knowledge of pharmaceutical/medical device cGMPs and FDA compliance is strongly preferred.

Knowledge of Process Safety Management standards for operating and maintaining process equipment.

Ability to read, interpret, and act on operational requests from management and the customer.

Effectively communicate with Plant Manager, Plant Maintenance Technician, Plant I&E Technician and other Plant Operators.

2-4 years of related experience in the operation of process equipment for the Oil and Gas Industry, or related experience.

Knowledge of standards for operation of oil and gas process equipment.

Basic computer skills necessary to maintain excellent records of process equipment maintenance, spare parts lists, and preventive maintenance schedules
