Acquire and apply knowledge of pneumatics, powered and free conveyance systems, and servo motors.

Acquire and apply knowledge of chemicals and reactive chemicals.

Use computers with Windows, Microsoft Excel. Experience with PLC (Programmable Logic Controls) and company specific application is plus.

A minimum of 2 or more years of related manufacturing/production experience is preferred

Previous work experience in a food manufacturing/GMP environment is preferred

Starting Salary $26.50/hr and up. (Depending on Experience)

Outstanding attention to detail and organizational skills to manage time and prioritize tasks.

Establishes technical fit into existing facilities and equipment layouts, identifies process requirements, recognizes efficiency and safety gaps and drives technical solutions.

BS Degree, preferably in Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering, with three (3) years of process experience.

3+ years of Process Improvement experience using Six Sigma, Lean, 5S, Trend Analysis methodologies preferred.

Experience with Data Integrity principles for automation systems and audit trail data a plus.

Strong verbal and written communication skills, and people skills to establish and maintain effective working relationships.

Knowledge and experience working in a GMP environment, with good documentation practices, as well as product sampling and inspection.

Minimum of three to five (3-5) years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing required.

Proficient in Spanish (verbal and written) and basic knowledge in English (read and understand basic instructions).

Good communication skills, both verbal and written.

Problem solving skills applicable to cGMP documentation.

Knowledge on basic mathematical operations (sum, subtract, multiply, divide, percentage, fraction).

Performs other duties as assigned and directed by Operations and plant or company management members

Required to adhere to the company safety policies and comply with all site-specific safety requirements and procedures

Knowledge of plant hazards and approaches to protecting both personnel and equipment.

Responsible for monitoring the status of all plant systems on a continuous basis

Maintains equipment at established control set points to ensure reliable, efficient and dependable operation of the process (renewable fuel) unit.

Starts, stops, operates and troubleshoots all plant and auxiliary systems and equipment,

Preferred Skills, Education, and Experience:

Uses troubleshooting skills to resolve process, product quality, safety, and environmental problems.

Six months experience working in a chemical plant environment.

Have general computer skills necessary to operate SharePoint and Microsoft Office.

2 years of chemical plant operator experience.

Follows operating discipline, procedures and practices to ensure a safe and efficient operation of assigned duties.

5+ years of relevant Chemical & Manufacturing Process Operator experience (will also consider Dow Distribution Operator or similar Dow experience)

Chemical Plant Mechanic or Chemical Plant Operator experience

Computer knowledge of Word, outlook, and Excel

Demonstrates excellent decision making skills and the ability to prioritize appropriately

Demonstrate leadership skills - inspire others and lead them through influence

Maintain up-to-date certifications, qualifications, and training records based on the INEOS operator progression policy.

Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulatory requirements and strive to meet internal SHE objectives.

Ensure completion of own and direct subordinate training requirements as outlined in the annual training schedule.

Prior chemical plant operations experience helpful

Must have good mechanical skills.

Maintains knowledge of relevant quality, statutory, environmental, safety, Responsible Care and US legislation requirements for assigned areas of plant.

Responsible for ensuring awareness of all controlled documents relating to this position as per Document Awareness Report from Document Management Database.

Associate’s Degree or Technical Certificate in Process Technology or other related field; OR equivalent related work experience/combined education.

Maintains applicable knowledge of all production, cost and efficiency targets.

Operates and monitors assigned areas of plant in accordance with quality, statutory, environmental, safety, Responsible Care and US legislation requirements.

Maintains detailed knowledge of the Responsible Care ethics and safe work standards and practices for plant and equipment operation.

Routinely lifts and dispenses 55lb. bags of dry ingredients into liquefiers.

Operates and cleans liquefying equipment and areas on both the dry and wet processing areas.

Cleans equipment used for processing and set-up of the area, including mopping and washing walls/outer equipment.

Perform minor maintenance within your skills and abilities.

Ensuring all of your operator medical fitness for duty and safety training requirements are current.
