Application of Knowledge of Process Systems

Develops and verifies equipment lists, equipment specifications, and controls, as well as instrumentation requirements for each assigned process project

General knowledge of AE&C practices, coordination, and execution

Four (4) years of mechanical design experience preferably in the medical device industry

Experience with Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Certified SOLIDWORKS Associate in Mechanical Design (CSWA) certification preferred

1 - 3 years experience in Corrosion Control

Experience in use, function, maintenance, and repair of cathodic protection tools and equipment

Experience reading and interpreting maps, drawings, procedures, survey results, plats, atlas pages, rectifier reports, and applicable operation and repair manuals

Knowledge of: pipe coating, basic chemistry, electronics, and metallurgy

NACE Cathodic Protection Certification/Corrosion Certification preferred

College or university education in a technical field or equivalent experience.

Have good interpersonal communication skills.

Experience with other Bentley platform tools – MicroStation, ProjectWise, OpenPlant P&ID, Navigator.

Working knowledge of other disciplines in the water/wastewater industry, such as structural, architectural, building mechanical.

Proficient in 3D modeling with Bentley OpenPlant Modeler, AECOsim (OpenBuildings) and dynamic views for 2D output.

Proficient in Windows based software and MS Office 2010 or higher.
