Overview A Probation Assistant is responsible for providing support to probation officers in the supervision of offenders. Detailed Job Description A Probation Assistant is responsible for providing support to probation officers in the supervision of offenders. This includes conducting interviews with offenders, providing guidance and support to offenders, and monitoring offenders’ progress. They are also responsible for ensuring that offenders comply with the terms of their probation, such as attending court hearings, completing community service, and attending counseling sessions.
