Under general supervision, instructs individual lessons in a specified area.

Strong leadership and communication skills

Comprehensive understanding of programs offered through the Fitness, Wellness, and Recreation Department

Knowledgeable about swim lesson program – group lessons, privates, and semi-privates

Knowledgeable about Athletics and Outdoor Programs since we share the same space

Manage all aspects of teaching Swim Lessons to Children and/or Adults

American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor (WSI) Training

Northeastern University considers factors such as candidate work experience, education and skills when extending an offer.

Have an exhaustive knowledge of traditional and contemporary performance techniques and compositional styles.

Have excellent communication skills and pedagogical technique.

Bachelor’s degree in Music Performance, Composition, Technology or equivalent professional experience in Music.

Meet one hour a week for 14 weeks with each student for their lessons.

Speak with students about their musical goals for the semester and help them achieve them.

Monitors participants and their ability to participate.

Attends and participates in scheduled meetings as required.

Responsible for finding a dependable, appropriate substitute upon their absence.
