Private Academic Coach Jobs in Michigan

Hourly Rate: Determined by the district and based on education/experience

Collaborate with certified teacher reviewing test results to design appropriate educational programs for eligible students.

Responsible for making lesson adjustments as needed to help students experience success.

A) completed at least two years of study at an institution of higher education (at least 60 credits); or

Current teacher certification is required for the in-school tutors.

Experience working with computers required

Commitment to the educational mission of Calvin as a Christian liberal arts University affiliated with the Christian Reformed Church.

Ensure that the scholars are completing the required assignments for their college course

Work collaboratively with the faculty

Work actively with scholars to assist them in developing approaches that will lead to improve their academic performance and college readiness

Monitor scholars in their academic performance and immediately notify the Assistant Director of scholars in academic jeopardy

Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and opening and closing program activities
