They are responsible for developing and implementing preventative maintenance plans, inspecting and testing equipment, and troubleshooting any issues that arise. Detailed Job Description A Preventative Maintenance Engineer is responsible for developing and implementing preventative maintenance plans for all equipment and machinery. This includes inspecting and testing equipment, troubleshooting any issues that arise, and ensuring that all safety protocols are followed. They must also be able to diagnose and repair any mechanical or electrical issues that arise. Additionally, they must be able to identify and order any necessary parts or supplies needed for repairs. • Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
• Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals
• Ability to use hand and power tools
