Press Room Helper Jobs

Check with Manager or Pressman to obtain work assignments.

Monday - Thursday 4:00am to 2:30pm

Obtain skids, load product onto skids according to procedures.

Complete special projects as assigned.

Complete and maintain all required paperwork, records, documents, etc.

Follow and comply with all safety and work rules and regulations. Maintain departmental

Rebuild and set up transfer heads for manufacturing headers, and any other tasks required by management. (10%)

Machine Shop experience in any capacity

Required: High School Diploma or GED

Technical School Degree completed or started

Blueprint interpretation to interpret drawings dealing with the building and repairs of dies.

Measuring Instruments: Read material gauges, measure equipment, and understand correct placement for new, damaged, or un-calibrated equipment.

Pay is $19 on night shift, including $1 shift premium

6 PM to 6 AM

2/2/3 schedule (work every other weekend)

It can be a physical job, lifting up to 80#s

Understand the importance of environmental responsibilities and proper disposal of press waste.

Follows all company safety requirements

At one year of professional working experience, preferred in a manufacturing environment

Primary Responsibilities are, but not limited to the following:

An individual in this position must be able to learn and demonstrate the following skills;

Ability to read and interpret job jacket information on upcoming jobs on production schedule.

Skills / Experience / Education

Prior experience in a machine shop. 3 to 5 years Preferred AND/OR

Operate brake presses, hydraulic and mechanical.

Operate material handling equipment (cranes, jib hoists, lift trucks)

Assist other operators as assigned.

Record labor accurately on work orders and time cards.
