Preschool Instructor Jobs in Georgia

One year's programmatic experience, including previous supervisory experience, is strongly preferred

Child Development Association (CDA) certification

Must obtain certification in CPR and First Aid within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Some positions may qualify for partial benefits depending on the number of hours per week assigned.

Minimum of an Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field required.

At least 2 - 5 years of experience as a lead teacher in a licensed childcare facility required.

Working knowledge of state rules and regulations governing the operation of childcare center.

Meet all state requirements for classroom teaching positions, and maintain state in-service requirements.

Train teachers on curriculum, developmentally-appropriate practices, and quality-rating practices.

Excellent classroom management skills and ability to challenge students in a safe, encouraging capacity

Open to growth and continued education opportunities to further your own abilities and that of the company

Bachelor's Degree preferred, but not required; professional dance/performance experience equivalent is acceptable

At least 5 years experience teaching

Strong moral values, work ethic, and professionalism

Organized, timely, dependable, team-minded, communicative, patient, consistent, encouraging, and meets deadlines
