Overview Preschool Instructional Assistants provide support to teachers and students in preschool classrooms. They help to create a safe and nurturing learning environment for young children, and assist teachers with classroom activities and instruction. Detailed Job Description Preschool Instructional Assistants are responsible for helping to create a safe and nurturing learning environment for young children. They assist teachers with classroom activities and instruction, and provide support to students in the classroom. They help to set up and clean up the classroom, and may also help to supervise students during recess and lunch. Instructional Assistants may also help to prepare materials for lessons, and assist with the implementation of lesson plans. They may also help to monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers. Job Skills Required

Job Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience working with young children
• CPR and First Aid certification
