Pool Nurse Unit Jobs in California

Interpret medical and nursing findings appropriate to the student's individualized education program and make recommendations to professional personnel directly involved.

Develop and implement the health education curriculum.

Hold a valid nursing services credential, or

Have a Bachelor's Degree and an RN license, or

Are enrolled in a college/university to attain a nursing services credential.

Recognizes legal and ethical duties and responsibilities of registered nurses;

Must possess and maintain the following certification(s) during employment:

For clinical specialty areas, must possess and maintain the following certification(s) during employment:

Be a subject matter expert and be recognized by other staff nurses and physicians for their expert knowledge;

Support less experienced Registered Nurses;

Anticipate and identify the needs of other patients and the capabilities of the nurses assigned to them;

Knowledgeable and able to use the nursing process to the benefit of patients.

Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.

DEPARTMENT REQUIRED CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AS TYPICALLY ACQUIRED IN:

This position represents the nurse with less than one year's experience.
