Policy Analyst Iii Jobs in Iowa

Collaborate closely with the Project Director and Eligibility Manager to align policy efforts with project goals.

Utilize your program knowledge to identify and address eligibility policy issues, promoting efficient and accurate processes.

Assist in identifying additional Eligibility Policy Analysts who possess the necessary criteria and experience.

Attend departmental meetings and required education and training programs.

A minimum of three (3) years of experience conducting Medicaid/CHIP eligibility reviews;

A minimum of five (5) related experience;

Provide assistance with the travel program which requires experience in budgetary requirements, military financial documents, reporting, analyzing, auditing, and travel policy.

Possess at least a bachelor’s degree with 3+ years’ experience.

Initiate and complete actions to write and brief at the 4-Star Headquarters level

Ability to examine government travel system requests for completeness, accuracy, and conformance with procedures and regulations.

Develop and maintain knowledge regarding current activities and future trends in public higher education.

Knowledge of, or experience with SHEEO agencies, partner organizations, and/or foundations.

Manage projects that develop and convey information to the postsecondary community.

Experience, or a strong interest in, helping to secure outside funding for special projects.
