Overview Podiatry Medical Assistants are healthcare professionals who provide support to podiatrists in the diagnosis and treatment of foot and ankle disorders. They are responsible for performing a variety of administrative and clinical tasks, such as taking patient histories, preparing patients for treatment, and assisting with medical procedures. Detailed Job Description Podiatry Medical Assistants are responsible for providing administrative and clinical support to podiatrists. They may be responsible for taking patient histories, preparing patients for treatment, and assisting with medical procedures. They may also be responsible for scheduling appointments, maintaining patient records, and ordering supplies. Additionally, they may be responsible for educating patients on proper foot care and providing referrals to other healthcare professionals. Job Skills Required• Knowledge of medical terminology

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Job Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a medical assistant program
• Certification from an accredited medical assistant program
• Current CPR certification
• Previous experience in a medical office setting
