Overview Pipeline technicians are responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of pipelines and related equipment. They are responsible for ensuring that pipelines are in compliance with safety regulations and industry standards. Pipeline technicians must have a strong understanding of the principles of pipeline construction and operation, as well as the ability to troubleshoot and repair any issues that may arise. Detailed Job Description Pipeline technicians are responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of pipelines and related equipment. They must be knowledgeable in the principles of pipeline construction and operation, and be able to troubleshoot and repair any issues that may arise. Pipeline technicians must also be able to inspect pipelines for any signs of damage or wear, and be able to identify any potential safety hazards. They must also be able to install, maintain, and repair any necessary equipment, such as pumps, valves, and other components. Pipeline technicians must be able to read and interpret blueprints and schematics, and be able to use a variety of tools and equipment, such as welding and cutting tools, to complete their tasks. They must also be able to use computer software to monitor and control pipeline operations. Job Skills Required
