Position Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Assist in the care and preparation of the patient by performance of routine and delegated duties.

Performs scrub duties efficiently and accurately. Gathers needed supplies, opens supplies utilizing sterile technique.

Observes changes in surgeons’ technique or supplies and relays this information for preference card changes.

Collaborates with Registered Nurse in the delivery of patient care.

Assists in housekeeping duties and cleanliness in the department as directed to ensure safe patient environment.
