Maintaining professional qualifications through participation in continuing education programs, in-service training, and academic courses

Knowledgeable and experienced in the area of nursing specialty

Implementing evaluation devices of student learning and clinical experience to measure progress and competency

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Prior teaching experience is preferred but not required

Preparing student progress reports and grade reports

Experience with Canvas or other learning management system.

Deliver effective student-centered educational experiences.

Experience in medical education or health professions education.

Experience directing a medical or graduate school educational program.

Delivery a horizontally and vertically integrated pre-clerkship curriculum with faculty teams.

Serve as a course director or co-director for one or more pre-clerkship, organ systems-based courses.
