They must be knowledgeable in anatomy, physiology, and kinesiology, and be able to evaluate and diagnose physical impairments. They must also be able to develop and implement treatment plans that include therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and other modalities. Physical Therapists must also be able to communicate effectively with patients and their families, and be able to provide education and support to help them understand their condition and treatment plan.
