Pharmacy Technician Supervisor Jobs in Florida

Performs other related duties as assigned by management

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.

National Pharmacy Technician Certification - preferred

Computer skills preferred: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Office, Teams)

2-4 years’ experience as a pharmacy technician supervisor required

5+ years’ experience as pharmacy technician supervisor preferred.

Maintains up to date knowledge on regulatory requirements and practical applications to address gaps in the compounding operations.

Identifies and implements recommendations for process improvement including cost effectiveness, operational efficiency, and inventory management as related to compounding areas.

Provides oversight of compounding policies and procedures development, implementation, maintenance and adherence.

Performs and cross-functions in all clinical pharmacist roles and functions as needed.

MEDICATION SAFETY - COMPOUNDING SUPV: Utilizes processes and techniques to promote medication safety.

SPECIALTY SOLUTION PREPARATION: Prepares specialty solutions.
