Participation in the seasonal influenza vaccination program is a requirement for all Department of Veterans Affairs Health Care Personnel (HCP).

Provides a full range of psycho-diagnostic and psychotherapy services and uses the most appropriate psychotherapeutic techniques in providing quality care.

Performs psychological evaluations for patients on units to which the psychologist is assigned to provide coverage.

Involved in Psychology Training Programs, Service Line Committees, Department Committees and/or medical center Committees.

Provides leadership guidance and consultation to staffs of units to which assigned.

Involved in the training of graduate trainees, as appropriate.

For applicants within Washington State, the following hiring range will be applied:

$119,857.92 annually to $179,786.88 annually.

Provides patient with appropriate educational materials and information in order help them understand and actively participate in their care.

Attends, participates, and upon request, presents at department educational programs.

Assesses patient’s medication therapy regimen for appropriateness, effectiveness, tolerability, safety, and potential for adverse events.

Advises, assists, and supervises the work of clinic assistants and pharmacy interns; assumes final responsibility for accuracy of their work.

Assists with the review and revision of departmental policies and procedures, as requested.

Keep accurate documentation of medication plans and patient progress to meet requirements for efficient patient care and to support billing practices

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.

Be responsible for the implementation of SCL Health Pharmacy Services and SCL Health Medical Group programs and services

Develop clinical pharmacy programs according to relevant policies and regulations

Review records of patients to determine the appropriateness of medication therapy and identify patients for program outreach.

Evaluate patients conditions and any barriers to medication compliance to ensure all issues are being treated
