Experience, Abilities and Qualities Required:

Conduct Veteran alumni training and periodical re-certification for program graduates.

Assist Pets and Vets Director and/or Manager with various special projects

Experience training dogs using positive reinforcement as primary method of animal behavior modification, and a solid understanding of learning theory.

Experience as a dog training instructor/teacher with comfort in leading groups and one-on-one sessions. Canine Good Citizen (CGC) test experience preferred.

Effective written and verbal communication skills. A self-starter, facilitator, and organizer.
