Previous experience in pest control and/or lawn care.

Skilled in use of tools and equipment necessary to perform task (includes iPad, termite rods, etc.)

Visually inspect for pest, pest harborage, pest entries, etc.

Educate clients in proper sanitation and storage practices.

Advise clients of the need to perform proper sanitation as part of the pest control program.

JOB REQUIREMENTS & WORK ENVIRONMENT

Mixes and applies pesticides and herbicides; sprays chemical solutions or dusts powders in work areas

Identifies pests, weeds, and plant material diseases that need to be controlled by the proper chemical application

Operates all related pesticide spray machinery, and an outboard motor used in the application of aquatic herbicides

Sets traps and places poisonous bait in rodent infested areas

Loads and unloads cases of chemicals and materials from trucks and storage areas

Previous experience in lawn care technician or extermination/pest is helpful, but not necessarily required.

May be required to complete stated certification/licensing process after on-the-job-training.

Identify structural faults within the buildings supporting structural pest control technician. Create a scope of work to resolve issues.

Install and make repairs to interior walls where holes and gaps are present.

Replace worn door hardware and door sweeps; inspect doors and windows for seal and proper closure.

Inspect ceiling tiles and replace as needed repairing holes and gaps where possible rodent entry may occur.

Repair ceramic floor tiles, replace and grout, inspect grout for pooling water and wear.

Report sanitation concerns in regards to food debris and standing water to support structural repairs efficiencies and venue opening readiness.
