Distributes information to the community and increases public knowledge of the work of MRS through multiple sources.

Strong presentation and advocacy skills.

Conducts outreach to potential landlords for housing.

Maintains databases landlords/housing options in various geographic regions of the service area.

Assists in developing relationships with current landlords and facilitating communication about MRS services to landlords.

Responsible for assisting with informational presentations to landlords/potential landlords.

2 years relevant work experience

Empowers refugees and other qualified immigrants to achieve earliest possible economic independence and integration into their new communities.

Conducts intake, assessment, and program orientation for clients; develops individual employment plans for eligible clients.

Enrolls job seekers into ESL classes and assists with accessing vocational and professional short-term trainings to increase employability.

Maintains positive relationships with clients, employers and training providers and helps to develop new employer and training provider partnerships.

Educates clients and employers about legal documentation required for work; provides referrals to clients for adjustment of status, and naturalization.

Follows lesson plans submitted by the regular classroom teacher

Leaves appropriate documentation for the teacher

o Have minimum of 60 credit hours or 2 years working with children.

Have completed the Child Abuse and Neglect Recognition and Intervention training
