Overview Peer Support Coordinators are responsible for providing support and guidance to individuals who are struggling with mental health issues. They provide a safe and supportive environment for individuals to discuss their issues and work towards positive outcomes. They also provide resources and referrals to other services and programs that may be beneficial to the individual. Detailed Job Description Peer Support Coordinators are responsible for providing support and guidance to individuals who are struggling with mental health issues. They provide a safe and supportive environment for individuals to discuss their issues and work towards positive outcomes. They also provide resources and referrals to other services and programs that may be beneficial to the individual. Peer Support Coordinators must be able to listen to and empathize with individuals in order to provide effective support. They must also be able to assess the individual’s needs and provide appropriate resources and referrals. In addition, they must be able to provide crisis intervention when needed. Job Skills Required
