Acute care facility experience: Preferred

Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS) certification: Required

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN): Preferred

Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice: Required

Participates in discharge planning in order to provide continuity of care.

Delegates appropriately and coordinates duties of healthcare team members.

Minimum level of education required: Bachelor's degree in Nursing

3 - 5 years of job related experience; 1 year of rehab experience preferred

3 years minimum of progressive leadership experience is preferred

Full Time 8A-5:30P / 80 Hours per Pay

Responsible for performance reviews, discipline, termination and personnel hiring.

Mobilizes the patients strengths and abilities towards participation in recovery and control over plan of care.

Current American Heart Association Certification for Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers

Shifts Available: Nights 7p-7a and Days 7am-7pm

Work Location: Onsite; Palo Alto, CA

Learns and utilizes the available technology for communication, documentation, and locating information regarding unusual clinical situations, diagnosis, and treatments.

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited college or university preferred.

Licensure/Certification Required: South Carolina Nursing License or Active Compact

Experience Required/Preferred: Prior Hospital Based Experience Required. Minimum 3-year current Acute Care/MedSurg experience is required. Pediatric experience is preferred.

The Registered Nurse assumes patient care responsibilities by organizing workload effectively and remaining flexible to environmental changes.

Support Directors of National Accounts and Regional Corporate Account Managers in providing detailing, in-servicing, and follow-up of products and services.

1 year of RN experience required

ACLS and NIHS Stroke certification required at hire or soon after

$70.00 per hour for night shift

13 week work commitment required

Must commit to 36 hours per week, every other weekend, and 3 holidays per year

Floating to multiple units required

Demonstrates knowledge and skills necessary to provide direct and indirect patient care as assigned.

Basic Life Support Certification is mandatory within six months of hire.

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.

6:30pm-7:00am, every third weekend, every third holiday, every third call; 36 hours every 2 weeks

$17.50 - $23.00 per hour

Education required to obtain a valid, current, full and unrestricted RN license in the State of Alaska

One year clinical nurse experience is preferred

Prior experience in the area of specialty is preferred

Oral and written communication skills, can enter and retrieve patient data accurately, can verbally communicate findings with healthcare team.

Valid, current, full and unrestricted RN license in the State of Alaska

Competency to recognize emergently ill patients and adverse signs and symptoms and to act promptly in emergency situations.

BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications

Experience in ED, MED SURG, and SNF settings

Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Assess and triage patients in emergency situations

Monitor patient conditions and vital signs

Management of Assaultive Behavior certification

Identifies own learning needs and pursues ongoing self-development to maintain competency in clinical skills through continued education and professional growth.

Completes mandatory education by deadline and maintains current licensure and certifications.

Knowledge of QSEN Competencies: Quality and Patient Safety Education core nursing competencies

Engages in continuous patient/family education while providing care

Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.
