Overview Patient Transporters are responsible for safely and efficiently transporting patients to and from medical appointments and treatments. They must be able to provide a high level of customer service and ensure the safety and comfort of patients during transport. Detailed Job Description Patient Transporters are responsible for providing safe, efficient, and courteous transportation services to patients. This includes transporting patients to and from medical appointments, treatments, and other medical facilities. They must ensure that patients are comfortable and safe during transport and provide assistance with any special needs. They must also be able to provide a high level of customer service and be able to answer any questions or concerns that patients may have. Job Skills Required
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations
• Ability to follow directions and complete tasks in a timely manner
• Ability to lift and move patients
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Knowledge of safety protocols
• Knowledge of medical equipment
• Ability to operate a wheelchair
Job Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license
• CPR certification
• Previous experience in a healthcare setting
