Qualifications/Requirements: Previous patient transporting experience preferred and must have excellent customer service skills,

RWJBH is seeking a Patient Transporter for our New Brunswick campus,

This is a Part time evening position, 32 hours per week,

Good customer and computer skills and working knowledge of insurance.

Prefer minimum of one year experience in medical clinic setting.

Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.

Prepares paperwork necessary for the patient visit.

Answers incoming phone calls and directs calls, makes appointments, performs Cashier duties as directed including posting of charges,

Collection of co-payments/co-insurance and balances due.

Efficiently/Accurately uses any technology/software used in the office to complete the job or as required by management

Participates in regular meetings and any other training as requested by management

Submits expense reports in a timely manner as directed by management

Runs errands outside the clinic as requested by management

Performs other duties as assigned by management

Accurately verifies benefits via phone, asking detailed questions outside of what is provided, and sets up accounts accurately

Transporting patients and clients in a safe and professional manner

Assist patients and clients as needed to ensure safe transfer

Effectively communicate with Charge Nurse regarding scheduled progress and the ablity to receive and perform additional duties/instructions

Ensure Dialysis recliners are properly disinfected between clients and returned to Dialysis Suite at end of shift

Efficiently/Accurately uses any technology/software used in the office to complete the job or as required by management
