They are responsible for monitoring patients’ vital signs, providing comfort and support, and ensuring the safety and well-being of patients. They must be able to recognize changes in a patient’s condition and report them to the appropriate medical personnel. They must also be able to provide basic first aid and CPR if needed. In addition, they must be able to assist with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding.
