Patient Care Technician Telemetry Jobs in Indiana

Provide patient education, follow policies, respond to emergencies, and act as a patient advocate while respecting rights and confidentiality.

Basic medical knowledge and patient care procedures.

Previous successful experience as a Patient Care Technician or similar role preferred

Exposure to blood and body fluids is possible

Any additional unit based duties

High School diploma or GED

Ability to use a computer for documentation and work related purposes

Experience requirement will be waived for Patient Mobility Techs who are transitioned into this classification in 2009.

Current CNA, EMT or Paramedic certification, or must take Parkview’s Patient Care Foundations course at time of hire;

2 years’ experience in a healthcare related field, training time will be determined based on experience;

If hired prior to 12/3/18, two (2) years military medical experience will be accepted.

Previous Telemetry Technician experience prefered.

Schedule: PRN, day and/or night shift

Hospital: St. Vincent's, St. Clair

Oversee and communicate cardiac patterns on telemetric devices.
