Patient Access Advocate Jobs in Ohio

Participates in a variety of unit and hospital educational programs to maintain current skill and competency levels.

Offering the most comprehensive care across ages, communities and specialties

Advancing education and training to shape the next generation of clinical leaders

Courteously answers the telephone and answers all questions in a timely manner.

Identifies and refers uninsured and underinsured patients to the Financial Counselor.

Inquires patient account system(s) to identify any previous unpaid liability in AMPFM/Misys.

Follow-up with health management plans and goals.

Address language and cultural barriers to care management and self-care.

Works under the guidance of physicians and/or a nurse care manager.

Assists patients with enrolling to access educational videos.

Experience working with Medicare, Medicaid or Special Needs populations.

Medical Assistant, Licensed Practical Nurse, Engagement Specialist or Community Health Worker Experience.
