Part Time Public Safety Officer Jobs in Florida

Must have great written skills and knowledge of press release style guides.

Must have great communication skills and the ability to collaborate with personnel and members of the media

25 hours per week and is fully remote

You'll be writing and distributing press releases, promotional social media posts, fact sheets, etc.

You'll work directly with the marketing team to help plan and implement PR campaigns aimed at increasing brand awareness

You'll be helping to maintain a fresh / current press list of journalists, influencers, and other members of the media

Two (2) years of experience involving art, design or event management; and

Experience working with artists, organizing exhibitions or events, promoting via social media.

Experience working within municipal government.

Associate's Degree in Fine Art, Visual Arts, Graphic Design, Arts Administration, Event Planning, Marketing, Building Construction or closely related field; and

Must possess (or be able to obtain within 14 days of hire) and maintain a valid State of Florida driver's license.

Bachelor's degree or higher in Fine Arts, Visual Arts, Design, Art Administration, Event Planning, Marketing, Building Construction.

Patrol campus by foot, motor vehicle, and cart, providing visibility and maintaining constant,

Provide facility security, including promoting overall safety awareness throughout

Responsible for all security functions of the shift

Provide parking lot escort services as requested

Perform daily locking and unlocking of campus buildings

Handle lock-outs and access issues as needed during shift, including providing appropriate

Have the ability to effectively meet and deal with the public

Within 90 days of employment, possess and maintain a valid Florida driver’s license and acceptable driving record

Ability to pass standard law enforcement background/security check; must be in good physical condition
