Paramedic FTOs are responsible for providing on-the-job training to new paramedics. They must ensure that new paramedics are familiar with the equipment and procedures used in the field. They must also ensure that new paramedics are able to respond to emergency situations in a timely and effective manner. Paramedic FTOs must also be able to provide feedback and guidance to new paramedics in order to help them develop their skills and knowledge.
