Able to stand, walk, lift and bend for extended periods of time.

Physical Requirements and Essential Functions

Third Shift ( 10:00pm to 04:00am )

Receiving shipments and assisting driver unload trucks

Moving product into retail store located inside malls

Unloading boxes and staging them in store in correct departments

Loading returns or damaged product onto trucks

Must be able to lift, push and pull 50-80lbs on a nightly basis for entire shift

Utilize voice pick software to find and pull the correct items

Stack items in ties, ensuring minimal breakage

Maneuver pallets with electric pallet jack to wrapping area

Aid warehouse team by ensuring a clean and safe work environment

Work with PM Supervisor for warehouse pick enhancements / product relocations, which aid the pick team

Work effectively with team members to foster family environment

Other responsibilities may be assigned through continued employment

Compensation – $15.00 - $18.00 an hour (compensation negotiable) depending on experience and yearly longevity bonus

Reads customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.

Conveys materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas.

Marks materials with identifying information such as order number, pulled from LOL and customer destination.

Records item number and amounts of materials transferred or received from other warehouse locations for storage or distribution.

Uses preprint pick tickets to pull customer specified items for shipment. Loads trucks with the product.

Maintain a clean, safe and tidy work area.

One year of similar experience preferred.

The Warehouse Clerk is responsible for performing general warehouse duties.

Shipping and receiving – as needed

Document incoming and outgoing items

Keep a tidy and organized work area

Maintain stock of shop supplies

Knowledge of basic computer skills

Good oral and written communication skills required

Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic work environment and willingness to assume new responsibilities

Maintain accurate computerized records of all material transactions

Performs physical and/or administrative tasks involved in the shipping, storing and distributing of materials, supplies and equipment

Prepares and maintains records of merchandise shipped; posts weight and shipping charges and prepares goods for final shipment

Six months of experience in a similar position preferred

Experience in operating a pallet jack, forklift and other power equipment preferred

Perform and submit a daily power equipment check list to the appropriate manager

Able to learn and maintain knowledge of company and products

Working knowledge of computerized hand-held devices

-Warehouse Workers (Picking, Packing, Inventory & Scanning)

-Collecting car parts from the Shipping and Receiving area and safely transporting product to the shipping bay

Lifting 50 lbs. frequently (buddy system)

Stand and/or Walk continuously, with the exception of a break and lunch period

Operate Stand-up Reach Lifts and Man-Up Order Picker to a height of 24 feet (Training is available)

MUST BE ABLE TO BADGE AT MERCEDES

Experience working in a warehouse environment (e.g., order selector/picking product storage, product staging, powered pallet jack/forklifts, etc.)

Experience working in a team environment (e.g., cooperating with co-workers, joint problem solving, etc.)

Mark load ticket for out of stock items

Wrap pallet when pallet/load is finished

Turn in paper work with order for check before loading and have truck checked

Stage pallet and/or load into truck when ready

Previous overnight warehouse/distribution center experience preferred

Knowledge of barcoding, scanning, labels, etc.

Starting pay at $17.25 per hour

Full time - 40 hours/week, plus overtime hours available based on business demand

$17 / hr (that’s a minimum of $680 a week, before overtime)
