Overview The Overnight Front Desk position is responsible for providing excellent customer service and ensuring the safety and security of guests and staff during the overnight shift. This position requires a high level of professionalism and the ability to handle a variety of tasks. Detailed Job DescriptionThe Overnight Front Desk position is responsible for providing excellent customer service and ensuring the safety and security of guests and staff during the overnight shift. This position requires a high level of professionalism and the ability to handle a variety of tasks. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Greeting guests and providing information about the hotel and its services
• Answering phones and responding to guest inquiries
• Monitoring the lobby and other public areas for suspicious activity
• Assisting guests with check-in and check-out procedures
• Processing payments and issuing receipts
• Maintaining a clean and orderly front desk area
• Assisting with other duties as needed
Job Skills Required
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
• Knowledge of hotel policies and procedures
• Knowledge of computer systems and software
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to work overnight shifts
Job Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in a customer service role
• Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality setting is preferred
• Ability to pass a background check
Job Knowledge
• Knowledge of hotel policies and procedures
• Knowledge of computer systems and software
• Knowledge of customer service principles and practices
