License/Certifications: MHRT/CSP certification or provisional certification is required, or must be achieved within first 3 months; Valid Driver's License
Experience: 1+ years of experience working with specific client population to which this position is primarily assigned
Prior experience with the chronic mentally ill population is highly desirable

Overview Overnight Crisis Workers provide support to individuals in crisis situations. They work in a variety of settings, such as hospitals, mental health centers, and residential facilities. They are responsible for providing emotional and practical support to individuals in crisis, as well as ensuring their safety. Detailed Job Description Overnight Crisis Workers are responsible for providing emotional and practical support to individuals in crisis. They must be able to assess the individual’s needs and provide appropriate interventions. They must also be able to recognize signs of distress and take appropriate action. Overnight Crisis Workers must be able to communicate effectively with individuals in crisis and their families. They must also be able to provide crisis intervention services, such as crisis counseling, crisis intervention planning, and referrals to appropriate services. Job Skills Required

Job Qualifications

• Previous experience working with individuals in crisis

• CPR and First Aid certification
