Detailed Job Description Optometric Technicians are responsible for providing support to optometrists in the examination and treatment of patients. They are responsible for taking patient histories, performing preliminary vision tests, and helping optometrists with patient examinations. They also provide patient education on eye care, contact lenses, and eyeglasses. Optometric Technicians may also be responsible for ordering and maintaining supplies, scheduling appointments, and filing patient records. Job Skills Required
