Optometric Tech Or Optician Jobs in Michigan

Minimum education requirement is high school diploma or GED. Some college preferred.

If certified, must maintain certification throughout employment in an Optometric Technician II position.

Displays customer services skills, strong interpersonal skills, close attention to detail, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Medical Terminology, Preferred knowledge of operating electronic health records (EHR) systems.

Must possess adequate individual coping skills.

Strong multi-tasking and time management skills

Educate patients on their insurance coverage and vision benefits

Obtain insurance authorizations and verification of benefits

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Team player with good interpersonal and listening skills
