Optometric Assistant Jobs in Nebraska

Ability to demonstrate inter-personal skills, oral and written communication skills; must meet attendance requirements/standards.

Upholds Kaiser Permanente's Policies and Procedures, Principles of Responsibilities and applicable state, federal and local laws.

High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED)

Optical and vision service background including customer service/retail experience.

Ability to efficiently manage patient flow to correspond with optometry appointment types and time lines.

Legible penmanship, problem solving skills.

Prior experience as an Optometric Technician or in the optical industry, but training will be provided to the right candidate

Greeting patients and updating insurance

The ability to work well with technology and various instruments

Appreciation and respect for top quality patient/customer care

Ability to thrive in a growing business while learning best practices
