Proven experience with Social media or Youtube video marketing

1-2 years of social media experience working for a brand or publication

Execute day-to-day posting on Parents and Kindred by Parents social platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, TikTok, and Flipboard.

With leadership, develop and execute a social media growth strategy for Kindred by Parents, including paid social efforts.

Manage and produce content for FP’s social media accounts, including Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Reddit, Instagram, and more

2-3 years’ experience in journalism, media, communications, think tanks, or related

Work closely with our editorial team to promote FP’s content and to produce bespoke content for social media

Identify and respond to the topics and trends resonating with our audience, as well as areas for growth

Stay on top of emerging digital and social products, best practices, and changes in the social ecosystem

A substantive understanding of social media strategy, analytics tools, and operations

Demonstrated organizational and project management skills

2+ years' editorial experience in educational publishing

Plan, initiate, and oversee projects in coordination with Program Manager, Development Editor, Content Producer, and Production.

1+ year's media editorial experience

Experience demonstrating high level of organization, detail-orientation, and self-motivation

Experience successfully communicating complex information verbally and in writing with a variety of stakeholders

Minimum of 3 years experience in Audience Development/ social media for news

Experience with data-driven decision making

Comfortable communicating effectively via remote channels (Slack, e-mail, video conferencing) and ability to communicate effectively across teams

Working knowledge of social platforms and major analytics platforms

Strong understanding or desire to master all facets of audience development including traffic growth strategies and audience diversification efforts

Eager to experiment and have a deep passion for new platforms.

Serve as backup and advisor for the Yahoo Finance Video uploading team

Assist social media editors on platforms including Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn, serving as a redundancy if someone is OOO

Writes posts to support both News and Video
