Overview Operations Technology Security Engineer is responsible for ensuring the security of the organization’s operations technology systems and networks. This includes developing and implementing security policies, procedures, and controls, monitoring and responding to security incidents, and performing vulnerability assessments. Detailed Job Description The Operations Technology Security Engineer is responsible for the security of the organization’s operations technology systems and networks. This includes developing and implementing security policies, procedures, and controls, monitoring and responding to security incidents, and performing vulnerability assessments. The engineer will also be responsible for researching and evaluating new security technologies, and providing guidance and training to other staff on security best practices. Job Skills Required
• Knowledge of security principles, technologies, and best practices
• Experience with network security, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems
• Knowledge of security protocols and standards
• Ability to analyze and interpret security logs
• Understanding of security risk management
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Job Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in information security
• Professional security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA
• Experience with security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, and vulnerability scanners
