3+ years of experience in continuous improvement, project management, internal consulting, or related experience

Demonstrated continuous improvement and project management experience; especially of large-scale, cross-departmental projects

Provide medical consultation and recommendations on training, technique, and education needs.

Participates in the related hospital administrative and clinical activities as requested by hospitals, including transfusion and surgical (trauma) committees.

Participate in medical student and postgraduate teaching activities.

Publishes articles, chapters, books, and lectures and gives presentations on a local, and national level.

Perform cooperative translational and clinical research studies with the goal of obtaining funding (grant or corporate funding).

Participate in regional, national, and international societies dedicated to transfusion medicine, apheresis medicine and/or cellular therapies.

·Experience with, or knowledge of, trauma-informed service delivery strongly preferred.

·Supporting and leading day-to-day operational efforts to maintain a positive experience for individuals utilizing services.

Coach, train and facilitate work stream management and change leaders in continuous improvement project implementations.

Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a scientific or engineering discipline, or equivalent education/experience.

Knowledge and practical use of data collection and analytical methods and tools.

Experience working in a lean culture for continuous performance improvement.

Excellent planning skills including resource allocation and timeline development.

Excellent interpersonal, communication, problem-solving and organizational skills.

Strong coaching, influencing, facilitation and organizational skills including and understanding of and proficiency in Change Management.

Strong attention to detail, analytical, planning, organization and time management skills to effectively execute project plans and budgets

Manage Lean Sigma Certification Programs (Green Belt/Black Belt) campus wide and assure resources are leveraged for sites continuous improvement activities

Apply principles of world class project management, lean manufacturing and six sigma and other Continuous Improvement methodologies to support manufacturing operations.

Solid understanding of Engineering, Project Management, Lean Principles, Six Sigma, Financial acumen.

Experience in creating sustainable processes via data-driven iterative process improvement – with a high attention to detail, and organizational skills
