Onsite Project Manager Jobs in Georgia

Strong knowledge of program/event management and budget maintenance.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in related field required. CMP (Certified Meeting Professional) Certification a plus.

Excellent computer skills, knowledge of G Suite & ability to learn new technology quickly.

Direct reports include Event Managers, Onsite Event Sourcing Managers, Onsite Event Venue Managers, Onsite Event Venue Coordinators and Onsite Event Specialists

5+ years of experience in meeting/event planning (including incentives, association, corporation) or hotel catering, convention, sales experience required. 

Prior experience leading teams/projects required. Prior experience managing, coaching and developing direct reports desired.

Substantial and extensive experience with planning, management and execution of highly complex material handling systems.

Minimum 5 years of successful experience in a related field and successful demonstration of knowledge of key responsibilities as presented above.

Demonstrates and applies broad knowledge of concepts, practices, and procedures for managed work group(s) and how it supports related operations.

Demonstrates understanding and application of supervisory approaches for work direction, motivation, performance management, and disciplinary action.

Knowledge of the constraints and methods for defining and demonstrating equipment, subsystem, and system performance criteria.

Knowledge of 3rd party procurement including development of RFPs/RFQs, bid review and assessment, and contract award in cooperation with purchasing resources.

Knowledge of project management tools, methods and best practices such as those defined by the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK)

Project management skills and the ability to multitask in a cross-functional environment

Monitors project management processes for assigned user community. Ensures projects adhere to high quality standards and meet customer expectations.

Certified Associate Project Manager (CAPM) or Project Management Professional (PMP) designations preferred.

Knowledge of how to leverage business applications for project advantage

Knowledge and understanding of current technologies in the area of expertise
