Preventive Management of Disruptive Behavior (PMDB) program and function as the Program Coordinator.

Coordination and oversight of VHA nursing scholarship programs to assure they meet national timelines, documentation/evidence files, and reporting requirements.

Participation in the seasonal influenza vaccination program is a requirement for all Department of Veterans Affairs Health Care Personnel (HCP).

Nurse I Level I - An Associate Degree (ADN) or Diploma in Nursing, with no additional nursing practice/experience required.

Competency management Assesses, measures, documents and supports competency, and addresses deficiencies in staff members’ competence.

Onboarding/orientation Develops, coordinates, manages, facilitates, conducts, and evaluates clinical onboarding/orientation programs for nursing & other healthcare personnel

5 years’ clinical nursing practice experience required. This role may be required to support more than one facility or specialty.

3 years’ progressive leadership experience preferred

Ability to plan educational programs for staff with various levels of ability given available resources.

Knowledge of adult instructional methods and theories, learning concepts and evaluation.
