Have 1-2 plus years of childcare experience, including infant care, or related professional work experience (such as daycare, teaching, etc.)

Possess valid CPR and First-Aid Certifications or be willing to obtain or renew as a condition of hire.

Proficient knowledge of home safety.

Handle age-appropriate care and responsibilities of children including:

Possess valid driver’s license, car insurance, and a clean driving record demonstrating proficient driving skills.

Researching, planning, and engaging in educational activities and crafts.

Frequent reaching, gripping, and keyboard use/data entry.

Attaches, connects, and operates electrodes from specified body areas to leads from electrocardiograph machine.

Reviews patient's record and instructs patients prior to procedures. Monitors patient during procedures and reports any abnormal findings.

Identifies and corrects for artifacts. Edits and forwards results to attending physician for analysis and interpretation.

Maintains EKG equipment and supplies.

Works in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.

Transports patients, including any oxygen, I-meds or other special equipment required by the patient, safely throughout the hospital.

Assists in moving patients to and from wheelchairs, stretchers or beds.

Signs patients in and out of nursing units and departments before and after patient transport.

Transports deceased patients to the morgue or other areas as instructed.

Confirms patient identification by verbal confrontations and ID band.

Greets patients, introduces self and explains to the patient the nature of the transport.

High school diploma or equivalent qualification.

Preferred experience working with children who are between the ages of 6 weeks through 11 years old.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Engage in educational activities with the children, including reading, crafts, drawing, coloring and singing.

6 months or more of childcare experience

Keep the play area safe and free from hazards while monitoring children consistently throughout the day.

Change diapers, dress children and assist them with their snacks, drinks and meals as needed.

Create daily lesson plans that are developmentally appropriate, fun and interesting. Lesson plans should always encourage full participation from each child.

Ability to pass a background check

Communication – Strong verbal and written communication skills
