Education, licensure, and certifications will be verified in accordance with the Human Resources Division’s Hiring Guidelines.

Must possess a current, active certification as a Nurse Aide in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts

CPR certification through the American Heart Association

At least one (1) year of experience in the care of geriatric patients in a healthcare setting such as long-term care

Certification in dementia, hospice, or other relevant discipline

Skilled in the use of using a computer for completion of work assignments

Attend and participate in inservice educational programs, on-the-job training programs, etc. as directed

Attend and participate in continuing educational programs as directed

Receive assignments and check your resident schedule

Report on and off duty

Perform assigned duties in accordance with our established policies and procedures, nursing care procedures, and our safety rules and regulations

Assist residents with dental and mouth care

Evening shift - 3:00pm- 11:30pm

Night shift - 11:15pm -7:15 am

Performs/assists with application of patient equipment.

Advises nurse managers and other nursing staff on management, administrative and/or technical procedures and techniques.

Credit will be given to applicants who possess the following desirable qualifications:

Develop specific clinical nurse skills through observation of experts and supervised, hands-on experience. (10%)

Reports abnormal findings or changes in physical, mental and emotional conditions to nursing staff. (10%)

Assists with keeping unit(s) and patient rooms stocked, clean, and orderly. (10%)

Documentation that complies with clinical guidelines. (10%)

Partners with interprofessional team on healthcare consumer throughput by proactively solving problems related to capacity and healthcare consumer flow. (10%)

Collaborates with interprofessional teams to incorporate Lean principles for quality improvement initiatives. (10%)

Restocks supplies as needed and per shift requirement. Manages clean and soiled utility room.

Assumes responsibility for self-development and completion of mandatory educational requirements.

Manages the desk area by transferring calls, answering phones, answering call lights, and paging per request.

Documents in medical record, graphic sheet, and flow sheets according to Policy and Procedure, and reports significant changes to the RN.

Reports pertinent changes in patient condition to team members and charge nurse.

Provides basic patient care such as assistance with ADL’s, vital signs, glucose monitoring, etc.

Constantly improve and update the SmartPM Help Desk and Learning Management System

Work with the development team to manage and coordinate complex support issues to resolution

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction or Experience working in support at a SaaS company is a must

Experience helping to refine and streamline the support process

Construction industry experience is a bonus

Experience in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project is a bonus
