Overview Nursing Assistant In Training (NAT) is a position that provides support to nurses and other healthcare professionals in a variety of settings. NATs are responsible for providing basic patient care, such as taking vital signs, assisting with activities of daily living, and providing comfort and support to patients. Detailed Job Description Nursing Assistants In Training are responsible for providing basic patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or other healthcare professional. Duties may include taking vital signs, assisting with activities of daily living, providing comfort and support to patients, and helping to maintain a clean and safe environment. NATs may also be responsible for providing basic medical treatments, such as changing dressings, administering medications, and collecting specimens. Job Skills Required

Job Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a nursing assistant training program
• Current certification as a nursing assistant
• Ability to pass a background check and drug test

• Knowledge of patient rights and privacy laws
