Overview A Nursing Assistant Trainee is a healthcare professional who provides basic patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN). This position is an entry-level position that requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Detailed Job Description Nursing Assistant Trainees are responsible for providing basic patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN). This includes assisting with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding; taking vital signs; and providing comfort and emotional support. They may also be responsible for providing basic medical care, such as taking blood pressure, pulse, and temperature readings; changing dressings; and assisting with medical equipment. Job Skills Required• Knowledge of basic patient care procedures
• Ability to follow instructions and work under supervision
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare staff
• Ability to maintain patient confidentiality
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to lift and move patients
Job Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a Nursing Assistant Training Program
• Current CPR certification
• Ability to pass a background check
Job Knowledge
• Knowledge of basic patient care procedures
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Knowledge of infection control procedures
• Knowledge of safety protocols
Job Experience
• Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred
Job Responsibilities
