Treating those who do not have symptoms in order to prevent future symptoms and optimize health

Completes trainings and education including but not limited to Healthcare Provider CPR.

Possesses 0 – 3 years of relevant clinical experience.

Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association.

Depending on location, performs phlebotomy and specimen processing as directed by delegating provider.

Administers, including but not limited to, intramuscular injections, subcutaneous injections, intradermal skin testing, topical medications, ophthalmic drops and nasal spray.

Depending on location, performs ECGs, places Holter monitors and downloads telemetry data.

Completes trainings and education including but not limited to Healthcare Provider CPR.

Possesses 3 or more years of relevant clinical experience.

Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association.

Depending on location, performs phlebotomy and specimen processing as directed by delegating provider.

May align to specific or multiple divisions.

Administers, including but not limited to, intramuscular injections, subcutaneous injections, intradermal skin testing, topical medications, ophthalmic drops and nasal spray.

Collaborates with the Practice Manager and other site supervisors to coordinate regular staff meetings and educational opportunities for advancement.

Ensures any patient or third-party medical record Requests for Information (ROI) follow HIPAA and Health Information Management (HIM) standards and policies.

Collaborates with Practice Manager in the planning and implementation of education/teaching programs staff within the practice.

Collaborates with the Practice Manager and other site supervisors to coordinate the day-to-day activities of the practice site.

Adheres to and utilizes practice objectives as defined by the Practice Manager and physicians.

Utilizes leadership skills to promote adherence to departmental staffing policies.

To supervise and direct clinical staff and to gather information, assess, and provide direct care to patients

Directs clinical staff in the provision of patient care, maintaining professional nursing standards and adhering to TCP policies, procedures, and recommendations

Provides general patient care. Prepares patient for examination per practice protocol

Assists provider, as directed, during treatments, examinations, and testing within the scope of the position

Administers medication. Administers medication as directed by provider per practice protocol

Triages patients. Triages presenting patient complaints per practice protocol, using electronic health records for documentation
