Notaries must also be knowledgeable of state laws and regulations regarding the notarization of documents. Notaries must be able to explain the documents to the parties involved, answer any questions they may have, and ensure that all parties understand the documents they are signing. Notaries must also be able to detect any potential fraud or misrepresentation. Notary Job Skills Required
