Detailed Job Description Network Operations Center Engineers are responsible for monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining the performance of a company’s network infrastructure. They are responsible for ensuring that the network is running smoothly and efficiently, and for responding to any issues that arise. They must be able to identify and resolve problems quickly and efficiently, and must be able to communicate effectively with other members of the IT team. Network Operations Center Engineers must have a strong understanding of network protocols, routing, and switching. They must be able to configure and troubleshoot network devices, such as routers, switches, and firewalls. They must also be able to monitor network performance and identify potential problems. Network Operations Center Engineers must also be able to create and maintain documentation for the network infrastructure.
