7-10 years of Cyber Security consulting experience

Demonstrated experience working in technology/infrastructure/operations and security

Assess technical architectures and implementation methods from security perspective

Analyze security related incidents and provide guidance on contributing control gaps and provide plausible technical security control solutions

Work with security engineering on design of technical security controls

Familiar with change management process and tools

Experience with Layer 2 LAN technologies such as STP, MSTP, RSTP

Experience with HA related protocols such as VRRP, MLAG

Experience with monitoring tool and protocols such as SNMP, Syslog

Experience with network protocols such as ARP, DHCP, DNS, VRRP

Experience with Layer 3 routing protocols such as OSPF, BGP

Conducts threat and vulnerability risk assessments to determine security requirements and proactively fix security flaws and vulnerabilities.

Regular contact with internal and external customers and contractor representatives involved with LAN/WAN design, network implementation, and network management.

Conducts analysis of security requirements and controls to identify gaps and provides recommendations of industry best practices, trends, and technology products.

Implements, manages, and enforces electronic information security directives in compliance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).

At least one professional information security certification required (CCNA-Security, CISSP, CISM,CRISC, and/or SANS GIAC).

Professional certifications; CISSP, CISM, & CCNP.

Cisco Certifications (CCNA/CCNP) 2+ years of certificate management systems (i.e. Venafi)

2+ years of experience with one or more certificate management tools (Venafi, DigiCert, Microsoft)

Expert level knowledge on Venafi Certificate Management TPP software

2+ years of experience in production supporting, including problem identification, ticket documentation, and customer/vendor relations, demonstrated through work, military, or education

2+ years of experience transforming and/or managing business and operational requirements in a product model construct as intake into feature development.

Identify security vulnerabilities and issues, perform risk assessments, and evaluate remediation alternatives

Excellent communication, organizational and time management skills

Bachelor degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience

Senior level technical certification or equivalent (CISSP, CCSP, MCSA) with demonstrated relevant experience

QUALIFICATIONS AND SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED:

Demonstrate strong meeting facilitation, spoken and written communication skills, lead productive discussions, and drive consensus working with technical, and business stakeholders

At least 12 years of Information Security architecture, project, and engineering experience and at least 10 years with a large organization

1-3 years of experience within a security/privacy team, cloud service provider, or commensurate education

Convert compliance requirements into datasets and enable metrics driven security compliance monitoring

Conduct an in-depth security analysis of computer networks and identify any vulnerabilities or gaps in the system.

Assesses network performance to ensure that it meets the present and future needs; analyzes facility bandwidth requirements and system interdependencies.

Manage risk and ensure disaster recovery in case of a security event.

Maintains and implements VMware Site Recovery Manager and VMware Replication.

Strong self-starting and time-management skills

Manage firewall configurations within the SpaceX enterprise network based on operational requirements

Manage and maintain network security systems by applying system patches and other periodic maintenance tasks

Experience with securing networks, IT infrastructure, applications, endpoints, and/or APIs

Experience hardening Windows, MacOS, and/or Linux operating systems
